February 17th is National Random Acts of Kindness Day, a day celebrated by individuals, groups and organizations nationwide to encourage seeking opportunities for acts of kindness then making an effort to do them.
In correlation with HomeTown Bank’s mission to do more, we’re sharing three ways you can do more in kindness for your community and for those you love – on this day and any day.
Number 1:
If you’re going through a drive-thru, consider paying for the order of the person behind you in line!
This is a super simple way to pay it forward and surprise someone with a free meal or coffee.
Number 2:
Leave a Have a great day! note or post-it in your neighbor’s mailbox or on your coworker’s desk to brighten their morning.
Imagine if you found a surprise like this to start your day?
Number 3:
Give a stranger a compliment, and mean it.
Does that color look amazing on her?
Maybe he did an exceptional job making your latte.
Thoughtful words might be the best part of someone’s day… and bonus point – they’re free!
Spreading kindness and doing more are important to HomeTown Bank, so please join us in doing more on February 17th and beyond!
