From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.

Community partnership is an essential element at Hometown Bank and one we take very seriously. While we find ourselves blessed with many opportunities throughout the year, we take the holiday season to ensure our community members in need, have access to adequate meals.
Dinner parties and family gatherings around the table are a favorite past time, but there are many families that find themselves without enough to eat. Hometown Bank is honored to partner with the Hope House and the Salvation Army for our canned food drive. We will be accepting donations at the Oneonta and Snead locations for Hope House and at the Pinson location for the Salvation Army. These organizations will distribute your gracious donations to those in need. All locations will be accepting canned goods and other non-perishable food items through November 21st.
Hope House began in 2000 with hope of providing food, shelter, and substance abuse rehabilitation to those in need. Hope House opened the first homeless shelter in Blount County and continues to support the community through adult education and financial assistance programs. Find out more at www.myhopehouse.org
The Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham provides support and assistance to a variety of individuals and families each year. On average, over 200 families seek food assistance through the Salvation Army. Find out more about the work The Salvation Army does at, Salvation Army.
